Directed Films
A selection of films I have directed, across documentary and fiction. In my documentaries, I observe people devoted to their craft, exploring their creative process and the quiet moments where work becomes art. In my fiction films, I explore loneliness, human relationships, and the search for connection — stories about getting closer to oneself, to others, and to the deeper questions of life.
Harmony in Movement
Harmony in Movement follows Miroslav Kodym, a long-time Aikido sensei (teacher) from Prague. When I began filming him, he was 63; he is now 72. What began as a simple intention gradually turned into a nearly ten-year journey.
The Way of Chipan
The Way of Chipan is a documentary born from a collaboration with Arhrid, a collective of young architects dedicated to preserving the modernist architectural heritage of Ohrid.
Mi(s)sing Dog
Mi(s)sing Dog is a short fiction film shot between 2016 and 2017, premiering in 2018 as my graduation film from FAMU — the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The project was supported by the Macedonian Film Agency and FAMU, and produced as a Macedonian–Czech co-production.
Small Nation Poet
Small Nation Poet is a documentary portrait of Slave Gjorgjo Dimoski, one of the most prominent living Macedonian poets.
The film observes his intimate and deeply personal writing process. Dimoski lives in the mountain village of Velestovo, where he was born, overlooking the city of Ohrid and the vast, quiet surface of Lake Ohrid. The landscape — open, still, and timeless — feels inseparable from his poetry.
